While playing around with the Artrage 3 demo, I took up @fuzzytypewriter’s challenge and took a shot at drawing the Muppets. I might come back and ink this at some point.

One of the problems with not drawing for a while is that getting back on the horse can be a pain, especially when you’re just not mentally in the game.
In the case of Jorge the Mutant Boy here (suggested by my buddy and Ten Ton Studios compatriot @Reilly_Brown ), this meant a few more drafts [...]

Just finished this last night. Done in Sketchbook Pro 2010.

Just playing around with ArtRage 2.5. I wanted to see how well the program was at inking. All told, it’s not too bad.
The program isn’t something I’d use for hi-res work (it seems to really tax the system), but for working at 200-300 dpi, it’s really not that bad.

So I’m just trying out an image pop-up plugin to see how well an image posted will look on the page. If it works out real well, then it may be a great way to post some sketches & stuff here. We’ll see.
Anyhoo….click on the image, and it should pop-up on the screen. Laterz!
